Day 35: Boston, MA - Rest Day
Nau mai,
Yesterday we had a rest day in Boston, Massachusetts.
Attempt 1 of spelling Massachusetts was a failure but attempt two was successful. That might be the emotional peak of this blog post, such was the level of restful monotony on the first of our three days in Boston.
I ate my breakfast on the bus which was parked behind the Royale, our venue for Monday and Tuesday nights. FROM the FIELDS Organic Original Granola with whole almonds, cashews, honey, cranberries, and more, was decanted into a plastic bowl and a banana was sliced and added to the mix. Greek Yoghurt was dolloped in the remaining space in the bowl, and then it was all topped with Wanda’s Pie In The Sky pie topping, which was a crunchy mix of candied popcorn and pecans.
We checked into the hotel and that was where I stayed for most of the day. Jon and Liz visited Boston’s Museum of Fine Arts and reported that the impressionist galleries were extremely impressive.
There was an evening activity organised by Jake and it required very little effort. We travelled to the Coolidge Cinema and watched the new Knives Out mystery movie, Wake Up Dead Man. It was a slow and relaxing day and we are all the better for it.
